Mission Cost: Rs. 450 Crores (Almost one tenth of the cost of other satellites sent to mars)

Elliptical Orbit: Periapsis – 421.7 km and Apoapsis – 76993.6 km

Trivia: This is the first interplanetary mission for India. India is the first nation to reach mars orbit on its first attempt, and the first Asian nation to do so.
